That's the hard part, actually! My little not-active-enough anime fandoms are gimmes, but there are only two of them: Yami no Matsuei and Kuroshitsuji. I feel strongly that there should be more fic for both, regardless of whether it's fic tailored to my peculiar tastes. But I'm not at all sure about a third (or fourth). If it weren't for the fact that the Archive has automated matching, this would no doubt be where I began dithering and asking whether you had some particular hole you needed filled.

As it is, if I wimp out on the signup it will be in part because I have a good guess about two of my three likely matches as of the last reliable signup summary, and can indeed do as you suggest and stalk their Dear Writer letters. I have no idea who the third is, but with time and patience I've got a decent shot of finding that person, too, and possibly even the handful of longshot matches.

And then I will feel like an idiot, because the last exchange I did resulted in people writing some really awesome things for me. But it won't mean I'm not writing.

ETA: Okay, I talked myself into it and have now signed up. Which means it's time for my Mandatory Apologetic Note to the Mod, which goes: If matching me causes problems in either direction, please, please don't jump through hoops to make it happen. Just delete the formal signup, and I'll be perfectly happy to lurk, find a likely prompt, and go from there. Really, really, I mean it!
