Here is the sign up form. Sign ups close April 30th.
2016 tag set
Dear Prime Time Player letters On LJ | On DW (optional)
Requests
You can request a minimum of 3, up to 6 fandoms. You may request up to 4 characters or request Any. All fandoms must be unique (cannot be requested more than once).
By requesting Any, a participant is requesting Any nominated characters. Do not be that person who requests Any in Fandom F, but writes about specifically wanting Character Z from Fandom F who wasn't nominated. Also, do not be that person who requests Any, but only talks about one or two nominated characters. In that case, just request those specific characters.
If you are typing in a nominated character, but it is not autofilling, you can copy/paste the character name from the tag set onto the sign up form.
Dear Prime Time Player Letter URL: If you want to leave the URL to your Dear Prime Time Player letter, this is the place to do so.
Optional Details: Optional details are optional, however, if you want to give your writer ideas, this is the place to do it, whether you write a letter or not. I highly recommend that you add in bare minimum optional details such as likes/dislikes.
If you leave optional details blank and don't provide a letter, your writer has mod approval to write whatever they want, provided the fic matches requested fandom and character(s) (if recipient requests more than one character, the writer has mod approval to use how many requested characters they see fit for the fic, including just one requested character out of the bunch).
Offers
You must offer a minimum of 3 fandoms, maximum of 10. You may offer up to 10 characters per fandom or offer Any. All fandoms must be unique (cannot be requested more than once).
Don't forget to request/offer fandoms you want. If you're lukewarm about a fandom, don't request it. Chances are this will be the fandom you receive.
If you are typing in a nominated character, but it is not autofilling, you can copy/paste the character name from the tag set onto the sign up form.
Once at least five people have signed up, you'll be able to keep track of current request/offer numbers via the signup summary.
In regards to character matching, the challenge's Minimum Number to Match is set to 1 Request, 1 Fandom, and All Characters. So matching is based off AND, not OR.
You may edit your sign up form until sign ups close on the 30th.
I may have to email participants and I do this through the email associated with your AO3 account. Please make sure to check this email when sign ups close in case I have to contact you about matching. Otherwise I have to delete your sign up.

Does that mean that if someone else has already requested a certain fandom, that I can't request it also? Like, only one person can request a Eureka fic? Or I can only request one Eureka fic on my sign-up form, the other 2 (or more) have to be in other fandoms? That actually makes more sense now that I've thought about it while typing this comment, but I'm gonna leave the question for your answer in case I'm wrong. *g*

Date: 2016-04-21 07:33 pm (UTC)The previous Not Prime Time rounds allowed for someone to request a fandom twice, provided they had three unique fandoms in their sign ups (so Hikaru no Go, Hikaru no Go, The Losers, Arrow). This year, no one can request a fandom twice (so Hikaru no Go, The Losers, Arrow as 3 min fandoms, up to 6 fandoms).

Date: 2016-04-22 09:17 pm (UTC)Basically I'm trying to determine if it makes it less likely that I'll match on a fandom if I offer a variety of characters instead of just a couple.

Date: 2016-04-22 11:28 pm (UTC)Statistically, a person is less likely to match with someone if they have the max amount of characters requested in a fandom (unless that person requests Any Characters). Some fandoms have a lot of characters within them and offers can range from 1 to 10 (or Any).
