Deadline for uploading stories is fast approaching. You have until 11:59 pm Pacific time on July 25th to upload your stories (and your over 1k word treats) and I will post a one hour warning before then within the admin comms.

Do note that the main collection goes live on July 30th so you'll have time to edit. That said, when the collection goes live, all stories must be completed.

Good luck to those still working on their stories and congratulations to those who have finished!

(sigh) I was totally not paying attention to the posted timeline and I thought the stories would go live today. Hurry up, calendar! We need some NPT!

I am very excited for Monday! Most of the stories have been uploaded so far.

Terrific! Will there be emergency pinch hit requests going out, or what's the process from here? (I know this is a newbie question... I don't know what's going on behind the scenes here!)

There will be, yes. We had a couple of defaults today that we will send out as pinch hits tomorrow so if you're interested, you can always check out the pinch hit list.

(No worries about newbie questions! Jenn and I are happy to answer. Also, flanick. Lots of flailing and panick ;) ).

One unfortunate side effect of changing the schedule for NPT is that it's landed on top of Parallels, whose deadline is August 1st; it means I'm unlikely to be able to pick up another pinch hit. But I've been anxiously watching the number of posted fics tick upward, hoping there won't be too many defaults; if there are a bunch (and there's one I'm actually suited for), I may just have to do the dumb thing and write TWO stories in the next week. <>

We don't have a specific time, only that we won't open the collection until everyone has a story. Right now, we are still waiting for a few more uploads.

But assuming those stories come in, are we talking something like an opening at midnight Pacific tonight, or like one at nine or noon on Monday? This is a situation where I'd really, really hate to guess wrong.

I would say somewhere around 9 am pacific time if all stories are in (I have work tomorrow so I'll be sleeping before midnight).
