Nomination Form

Nominations run from April 5th until the 15th. You're able to nominate up to 7 fandoms and for each fandom, up to 6 characters. The fandoms must be medium sized fandoms (unless it's an RPF fandom or movie fandom which means it can also be a potential Yuletide fandom as well) or a lucky winner from Lucky Number Seven and you can check eligibility rules here. Please nominate fandoms that you are intending to request or offer.

You must have an AO3 account to use the nomination form. If you need an invitation, please contact us at notprimetime@gmail.com.

You can see the nominations tag set here to see what has been approved.

Note: Fandoms will be the first things approved. Character approvals will be much slower. Approved fandoms and characters will be visible during nominations. As well, the panel for approving fandoms and tags is finite, so I cannot see everything that people nominate. If you are wondering why Fandom X or Character Y is taking forever to be approved, it might be because I cannot see it on the panel due to other fandoms and characters taking up that space.

Please use AO3 canonical fandom and character names as much as possible. Those are the ones that get approved first and the AO3 canonical names are what we are using. If, as an example, you want to nominate 'El Gato' the character but AO3 has 'Juan "El Gato" Rodriguez' as the canonical, the tag set will use the latter.

Except for the Lucky Number Seven megafandoms, if anyone nominates a fandom from the megafandom list, I am flat out rejecting them. People who accidentally nominate too small fandoms will have a chance to change their nominations until the next clarification post.

When asking for clarifications, if I receive no information by the next posting, that fandom or character will be rejected from the tag set. Please keep an eye out for clarification posts.

There are heavy images underneath the cut. The images are from 2012's round, but the process is still the same.

While nominations are going on, if you feel your nominated fandom or characters might be difficult to verify for eligibility, please link evidence below in this post. Whether it is because the fandom eligibility is on a non-AO3/FFN archive or has a single fandom exchange, the name is different on FFN and may be difficult to find, the character name you nominated isn't canonical on AO3, the nominated character is only on a few episodes...anything that might potentially require clarification on my end, please post about it here.

There are some nominated fandoms that, as far as AO3 and FFN numbers are concerned, are too small for Not Prime Time. If the nominators could please either comment below with additional evidence pointing to the medium size of the fandom or change their nominations to something else. You have until the night of April 6 (Eastern time) before I reject these fandoms from the tag set:

Avengers: Earth's Mightiest Heroes
Defiance (TV)
The Death Gate Cycle - Margaret Weis & Tracy Hickman
Dracula (TV 2013)
Dragonlance - Margaret Weis & Tracy Hickman
Faking It (TV 2014)
Iron Man Noir
Law & Order
Lego Ninjago
Penny Dreadful (TV)
Southland
Space Cases (TV)
Terra Nova (TV)
Thundercats (2011)
The Wire

If the case that your fandoms listed above are not eligible, there is always Night on Fic Mountain (the Yuletide similar exchange held during this time of the year) though they are currently on sign ups and have closed nominations. Or you can wait until the end of the year for Yuletide.

Evidence post is still there if you feel your nominated fandom or characters might be difficult to verify for eligibility.

There are a few All Media Types fandoms currently in the queue that I had questions on.

The Hobbit - All Media Types: The Hobbit (Jackson movies) has been approved and I just checked and the book version is eligible. Is there a need for All Media Types or no? I don't mind approving all three if it came down to it as all three are eligible, but I just need to know what buttons to push.

Inspector Morse & Related Fandoms: Lewis (TV) was approved. Did you still want this fandom tag or no?

Star Wars - All Media Types: Is really vast and spans a lot of media. There are several Star Wars fandoms that are eligible on its own like original trilogy or prequels. I'd prefer this get more specific, but if a lot of people want AMT, I can do that too.

Tinker Tailor Soldier Spy - All Media Types: Tinker Tailor Soldier Spy (2011) is eligible. Did you mean that instead?
