Thanks for the heads up! I've updated the list with the fandom. (Also, wow. That is a lot of pony stories. Currently on AO3, Teen Wolf is sitting at 33896 works).

Yeah, and it seems to just be the FiM continuity, and some Equestria Girls. So older My Little Pony stuff would definitely not be a megafandon but probably also to small for this exchange. What I don't know is how many fics there are Equestria Girls and whether you guys consider it distinct enough from Friendship is Magic.

Can we nominate smaller parts of a larger franchise? As an example, can we nominate Star Wars cartoons, which I haven’t checked but would guess are usually smaller fandoms than the movies, or do they not count because they are part of the same franchise?

As long as the smaller parts are eligible on their own, yes, they can be nominated. Star Wars: Rebels and Star Wars: The Clone Wars (2008) - All Media Types were eligible last year, as well as Star Wars Original Trilogy and Star Wars Prequel Trilogy.

Thank you! I'll update the list with Supergirl and The Flash. The X-Men movies have been split between the timelines for a couple of years now, so I'm not too worried about that. I'll take a look a Final Fantansy XV in a couple of days when the list closes again for the round.

Would The Silmarillion (and other Histories of Middle-Earth) be eligible? LOTR, The Hobbit and Tolkien are all on the mega-fandoms list (although Tolkien includes fics from all three of these plus the movies so I’m not sure if it should count separately.) The Silmarillion has around eleven thousand fics on ao3, which is a few thousand less than LOTR and a lot less than The Hobbit. The Silmarillion has been eligible for Yuletide although it has grown since then, and while it is still growing it is a realitvly small section of Tolkien fandom as a whole.What do you think?

Yup. The Silmarillion has been eligible for a few years now for Not Prime Time. As far as I can see, no one has nominated it yet.
