Potential Changes

Not Prime Time 2016 is a go. Thank you to everyone who indicated their interest. However, because I'm finishing up my undergrad, taking a 2 week trip in June to the Philippines to visit my family and starting my graduate program towards the end of the round, I plan on making some changes to make it easier for me to mod. These are the things I'm thinking about changing, though if there's interest for keeping them, let me know. Input is much appreciated!

1) Lucky Number Seven. We did this last year as a reward for participants for going above and beyond for the exchange over the years by writing full length pinch hits, treats, and Hiatus fics. The reward was letting those participants vote on 7 megafandoms that they wanted into the exchange. If people want to do another Lucky Number Seven again (voting limited to participants who wrote full length pinch hits, treats, and Hiatus fics during the 2015 round), I'll have to update the megafandoms list. If people don't want it, I'll let the megafandoms list slide for this year (as I haven't updated it since last round and no one has commented with new megafandoms in the previous months) so the fandoms not eligible will be the ones currently on the megafandoms list, as that's the easiest option for me.

2) In previous rounds, NPT allowed for one fandom to be requested twice. I've been thinking about making all requests fandom unique, so no fandom can be requested twice. Due to AO3's system, if fandoms requested are not unique, I have to check every signup to make sure they'll following the rules. Thoughts?

3) Returning the pinch hits confirmation from 12 hours to 24 hours. It's easier for me to return to the same time the next day then it is 12 hours from when I post about the pinch hits.

4) Since I don't know what my internet situation will be like when I'm in the Philippines (and I still have to nail down the dates I'll be there), I can either delay posting pinch hits of assignments defaulted during that span until I return or have someone post those pinch hits while I'm gone.

Perhaps you need a co-mod who can at least help with some of the grunt work while you're traveling?

1) There are plenty of exchanges for the megafandoms around, so I'd vote or no Lucky Number Seven.

2) If it's extra work for you, then I think you should do away with allowing a fandom to be requested twice.

Same about 3) and 4), imo, you should do what suits you best. :)

I am in favor of everything and anything that makes it easier for you and results in us getting stories. E.G., I'm easy!

I am fully in favor of no Lucky Seven because Megafandoms ALWAYS have exchanges.

The rest of the rules sound like common sense to accommodate.

As to pinch hits... I've never modded. If you could find an experienced co-mod to post for you, great. If not, a delay wouldn't be that big a deal for me. But I acknowledge my freaky quickness with pinches, when they're in fandoms I know.

No megafandoms is fine, and making all fandom requests unique so you don't have to personally check every one seems totally sensible. Whatever you decide on pinch hits is fine with me!

I wouldn't mind if we didn't do Lucky 7 this time, and I vote for 3) and 4) in whatever way that's easiest for you! I'd prefer if we can ask for a fandom twice, but if we can't, can we have more character slots?
