Nomination Form

Nominations run from April 5th until the 15th. You're able to nominate up to 10 fandoms and for each fandom, up to 12 platonic and/or romantic relationships (& or /). The fandoms must be medium sized fandoms (unless it's an RPF fandom or movie fandom which means it can also be a much smaller fandom). Please nominate fandoms that you are intending to request or offer. The eligibility rules are here.

You must have an AO3 account to use the nomination form. If you need an invitation, please contact us at notprimetime@voiceofserenity.com.

You can see the nomination tag set here to see what has been approved.

Note: Fandoms will be the first things approved. Relationship approvals will be much slower. Approved fandoms and relationships will be visible during nominations. The panel for approving fandoms and tags is finite, so I cannot see everything that people nominate. If you are wondering why Fandom X or Relationship Y is taking forever to be approved, it might be because I cannot see it on the panel due to other fandoms and relationships taking up that space.

Please use AO3 canonical fandom and relationship tags as much as possible. Those are the ones that get approved first and the AO3 canonical names are what we are using. If, as an example, you want to nominate 'El Gato/Sue Johnson' the relationship but AO3 has 'Sue Johnson/Juan "El Gato" Rodriguez' as the canonical, the tag set will use the latter for approving ease.

If anyone nominates a fandom from the megafandom list, it will be flat out rejected. People who accidentally nominate too small fandoms will have a chance to change their nominations until the next clarification post.

When asking for clarifications, if I don't receive information by the next posting, that fandom or relationship will be rejected from the tag set. Please keep an eye out for clarification posts.

I will be approving or rejecting nominations during Nominations and once a fandom or relationship has been reviewed, it cannot be changed. However, I will ask for clarification through the admin comm. If no one speaks up in a couple of days, I will reject said fandom/relationship.

Nominating Fandoms

To nominate a fandom, under Fandom 1 (Fandom 2, etc) type in the fandom name. As much as possible, please allow the autocomplete to fill in the name of the fandom. More often than not, because these are medium sized fandoms, it is highly likely that your fandom would has already been uploaded to AO3. If it doesn't come up on the autocomplete, type it in and hit enter.

If you've made a mistake or want to switch out this fandom for another, you can click on the X next to the name. The same goes for relationships.

Nominating Relationships

This works like nominating fandoms. Autocomplete may be able to give you an AO3-canonical version of your relationship's name if a fic has been uploaded with it before. If it doesn't come up on the autocomplete, type it in and hit enter.

Relationships that can be nominated:
-If you want solo gen, type in 'Character & None' (example using an ineligible fandom: 'Derek Hale & None'). This relationship tag won't be AO3 canonical, so type it like above.

-If you want gen between two characters, type in 'Character & Character' (example using an ineligible fandom: 'Cora Hale & Derek Hale').

-If you want shipping between two characters, type in 'Character/Character' (example using an ineligible fandom: 'Cora Hale/Derek Hale').

As you can see between the examples from gen and shipping, one is platonic between siblings and one is incest between siblings, so nominate carefully to get what you want.

-Threesomes/moresomes tags are allowed, but only for tags that already have fics written for them to provide some limits for myself.

-Original Characters are not allowed.

Submitting your nominations

Click submit when you're done.

If you want to edit your nominations, look to the upper right where there is an Edit button. You will be able to edit if your nominations haven't been accepted or rejected.

How to tell if a nomination has been accepted or rejected?

If it's accepted, there will be an image of a check mark next to it.

If it's rejected, there will be an image of a X mark next to it.

If it hasn't been looked at yet, it will have an image of ?! mark next to it.

Your submission isn't finalized until everything on it has been reviewed or until nominations end.

Under Cartoons, "Star Wars: The Clone Wars (2003) - All Media Types" should read "(2008)" instead, judging by the ships nominated. There are characters exclusive to the 2008 series. I'm not the original nominator; I just noticed when adding my own nomination to that fandom, because both it and the ship showed up as unreviewed after they were submitted.

Is it easier if I change my fandom and they all get put under the correct one later, or do I leave it as is?

I'm not familiar with the 2003 version. However, I looked up the characters whose origin I wasn't 100% sure about, and none of them were in the 2003 fandom. The only ship that could plausibly have been nominated for it is "Obi-Wan Kenobi/Anakin Skywalker (Clone Wars)", featuring characters who appear in both series. There's a chance the fandom nomination was a typo for all of them, including that one, but no way to be sure unless the original nominator sees this.

ETA: Since they all end in "(Clone Wars)", I think it probably was the same person trying to nominate them for 2008. But yeah, can't really know.

Not the original commentor

Not the first person to notice this, but I noticed it too. The ships that should be in 2008 are: Cad Bane & Obi-Wan Kenobi (Clone Wars), Obi-Wan Kenobi & Hondo Ohnaka (Clone Wars) and Padmé Amidala/Satine Kryze (Clone Wars). These ones might belong in the 2008 category, I’m not sure because it’s been a while since I watched, and I’d like a second opinion! CT-7567 | Rex & Anakin Skywalker (Clone Wars), CT-7567 | Rex/Anakin Skywalker (Clone Wars), Anakin Skywalker & Ahsoka Tano, (Clone Wars) Anakin Skywalker/Ahsoka Tano (Clone Wars), Obi-Wan Kenobi & Anakin Skywalker & Ahsoka Tano (Clone Wars), and Plo Koon & Ahsoka Tano (Clone Wars)..

So pretty much all of them like the above commentor said.

Sorry for the delay in responding! And thank you, [personal profile] rachaelizame! I hadn't had a chance to get to the laptop yet.

Based on memory and the Wookiepedia (starwars.wikia.com), any ship with Ahsoka, Rex, Hondo, Cad Bane, and Satine has to be for the 2008 series. R2 and Plo Koon as well, because while they originated in movies and so predate the 2003 series, they don't seem to have appeared in it.

To cover all bases, when I do get on the laptop I'll add Obi Wan/Anakin to my 2008 nominations. Then the nominator will find it in both fandoms! They nominated most of what I would've added anyway. :)
