Assignments have been sent so check your email inboxes (or Spam folders). The deadline for stories is July 3rd, 11:59 pm Eastern time. If you haven't finished writing your letters, please do so as soon as possible to give your writers time to write your story. Keep an eye out for mod emails to the email assigned to the AO3 username you signed up with in case I have to contact you for questions from your writer. If your assignment doesn't include a letter, check out the Dear Prime Time letter post on Dreamwidth in case they posted there.

Main gifts as well as treats of any size or category (fic, art, podfic, etc) will go into the main collection. Treats won't randomly become main gifts unless absolutely necessary and I'll ask the treat writer first before that happens.

NPTProducer is live. This account is meant for those who have stories that don't quite fit their recipient's wishes or for those people who wanted to write a particular story but had no one to gift it to. The NPT Producer is here for you! The producer, however, is a busy person, so can only thank you for the work, but you are guaranteed that thank you comment.

Pinch hits will run through the npt_admin comm. Initial pinch hits will be posted sometime tomorrow.

Requests

You can request a minimum of 3, up to 10 fandoms. You may request up to 8 nominated relationships. All fandoms must be unique (cannot be requested more than once).

If you are typing in a nominated relationship, but it is not autofilling, you can copy/paste the relationship name from the tag set onto the sign up form.

Dear Prime Time Player Letter URL: If you want to leave the URL to your Dear Prime Time Player letter, this is the place to do so.

Optional Details: Optional details are optional, however, if you want to give your writer ideas, this is the place to do it, whether you write a letter or not. I highly recommend that you add in bare minimum optional details such as likes/dislikes.

Offers

You must offer a minimum of 3 fandoms, maximum of 10. You may offer up to 10 relationships per fandom or offer Any. All fandoms must be unique (cannot be requested more than once).

Don't forget to request/offer fandoms you want. If you're lukewarm about a fandom, don't request it. Chances are this will be the fandom you receive.

If you are typing in a nominated relationship, but it is not autofilling, you can copy/paste the relationship name from the tag set onto the sign up form.

Once at least five people have signed up, you'll be able to keep track of current request/offer numbers via the signup summary. (You can see the summary in incognito/private browser or signed out, due to AO3 bug).

In regards to relationship matching, the challenge's Minimum Number to Match is set to 1 Request, 1 Fandom, and 1 Relationship. Matching is based off OR, not AND.

You may edit your sign up form until sign ups close on the 30th. Requests will be revealed on the 4th day of sign ups.

I may have to email participants and I do this through the email associated with your AO3 account. Please make sure to check this email when sign ups close in case I have to contact you about matching. Otherwise I will delete your sign up.

I closed the tag set this morning and now that I'm home, I'm working through approving the rest of the fandoms and relationship tags the next couple of days.

If anyone sees any relationship tags that shouldn't be in a particular fandom (example: crossover pairings or a character that doesn't exist in said fandom) or any other mistakes in the tag set, please let me know so I can correct it.

Sign ups will begin April 19th to April 30th.

Nomination Form

Nominations run from April 5th until the 15th. You're able to nominate up to 10 fandoms and for each fandom, up to 12 platonic and/or romantic relationships (& or /). The fandoms must be medium sized fandoms (unless it's an RPF fandom or movie fandom which means it can also be a much smaller fandom). Please nominate fandoms that you are intending to request or offer. The eligibility rules are here.

You must have an AO3 account to use the nomination form. If you need an invitation, please contact us at notprimetime@voiceofserenity.com.

You can see the nomination tag set here to see what has been approved.

Note: Fandoms will be the first things approved. Relationship approvals will be much slower. Approved fandoms and relationships will be visible during nominations. The panel for approving fandoms and tags is finite, so I cannot see everything that people nominate. If you are wondering why Fandom X or Relationship Y is taking forever to be approved, it might be because I cannot see it on the panel due to other fandoms and relationships taking up that space.

Please use AO3 canonical fandom and relationship tags as much as possible. Those are the ones that get approved first and the AO3 canonical names are what we are using. If, as an example, you want to nominate 'El Gato/Sue Johnson' the relationship but AO3 has 'Sue Johnson/Juan "El Gato" Rodriguez' as the canonical, the tag set will use the latter for approving ease.

If anyone nominates a fandom from the megafandom list, it will be flat out rejected. People who accidentally nominate too small fandoms will have a chance to change their nominations until the next clarification post.

When asking for clarifications, if I don't receive information by the next posting, that fandom or relationship will be rejected from the tag set. Please keep an eye out for clarification posts.

The stories are up and raring to be read at Not Prime Time 2018. A very special thank you to our pinch hitters for helping us open on time. If you see some fics unrevealed, give it some time as AO3 does it in batches.

You can scroll through all the works and use the sorting buttons to find what you are looking for (by title, date updated, word count, hits - both by highest and lowest, etc). If you are looking for something specific, there is also searching by tags.

Writers, either you can hold off on replying back to comments until after author reveals on July 21st or you can choose to use the option of anonymous creator replies which are turned on until reveals.

The collection will remain open until the anonymous period is over for potential treats, both non-fic or fic of any word size.

If you find anything wrong or suspicious in the collection, please email or comment on the post so I can investigate.
