Welcome to the 2013 round of Not Prime Time! There have been a few changes that we hope will improve your enjoyment of the exchange. Thanks to input from last year, we will be hosting (whether temporarily or permanently) any non-fic works for treats. More information about this will be posted in a later entry. We have also updated the Frequently Asked Questions, including a new ruling on movie fandoms which will allow for more of them within Not Prime Time.

If you participated last year and had to default for whatever reason, please note that you are welcomed to participate this year.

Upcoming will be a few posts about nominations. April 1st, we will be locking our megafandoms list until the round is over.

I'm sure this is going to come up/will come up/has come up, so point me at the answer if it exists already:

I see that Avengers is on the mega fandoms list. Are you counting "Avengers" as a blanket term that includes all of MCU? Or are the other movies (Iron Man I & II, Captain America, Thor) all still eligible?

Just The Avengers movie(s), not the individual movies about the heroes who make up the Avengers. So (for now as they're currently not megafandoms) the Iron Man movies, Captain America movies, etc are eligible. That said, only the characters that show up in those particular movies are eligible for nomination, so no Tony Stark in the Captain America movies, but Howard Stark is eligible. Phil Coulson is eligible for Thor or Iron Man movies, etc.

Can I ask what the nomination limits are? I need to start planning and coordinating with others.

Every AO3 account has the option of nominating 4 fandoms with a maximum of 6 characters within each fandom. Just like last year, if there's a fandom that's questionable or obviously Yuletide-sized, we'll mention it in the admin comms so the nominator can either clarify or change their selection.
