Date: 2019-04-18 11:16 am (UTC)Jonathan Strange & Mr NOrrell is a standalone novel; The Ladies of Grace Adieu is a collection of short stories set in the same world, only one of them featuring any of the same characters, so, awkwardly, yes and yes and no to those questions, depending.
(Not the nominator, but familiar with both, although it can't be assumed all readers of JSMN have read Ladies of Grace Adieu.)
