Nomination Form
Nominations run from April 5th until the 15th. You're able to nominate up to 7 fandoms and for each fandom, up to 6 characters. The fandoms must be medium sized fandoms (unless it's an RPF fandom or movie fandom which means it can also be a much smaller fandom). Please nominate fandoms that you are intending to request or offer. The eligibility rules are here.
You must have an AO3 account to use the nomination form. If you need an invitation, please contact us at notprimetime@gmail.com.
You can see the nomination tag set here to see what has been approved.
Note: Fandoms will be the first things approved. Character approvals will be much slower. Approved fandoms and characters will be visible during nominations. As well, the panel for approving fandoms and tags is finite, so I cannot see everything that people nominate. If you are wondering why Fandom X or Character Y is taking forever to be approved, it might be because I cannot see it on the panel due to other fandoms and characters taking up that space.
Please use AO3 canonical fandom and character names as much as possible. Those are the ones that get approved first and the AO3 canonical names are what we are using. If, as an example, you want to nominate 'El Gato' the character but AO3 has 'Juan "El Gato" Rodriguez' as the canonical, the tag set will use the latter.
If anyone nominates a fandom from the megafandom list, I am flat out rejecting them. People who accidentally nominate too small fandoms will have a chance to change their nominations until the next clarification post.
When asking for clarifications, if I receive no information by the next posting, that fandom or character will be rejected from the tag set. Please keep an eye out for clarification posts.
There are heavy images underneath the cut. The images are from 2012's round, but the process is still the same.
Your mods will be approving or rejecting nominations during Nominations and once a fandom or character has been reviewed, it cannot be changed. However, we will ask for clarification through the admin comms. If no one speaks up in a couple of days, we will reject said fandom/character.
Nominating Fandoms
To nominate a fandom, under Fandom 1 (Fandom 2, etc) type in the fandom name. As much as possible, please allow the autocomplete fill in the name of the fandom. More often than not, because these are medium sized fandoms, it is highly likely that your fandom would have already been uploaded to AO3. If it doesn't come up on the autocomplete, type it in and hit enter.

Make sure you're nominating the right fandom. As in the image above, I could accidentally click on a fandom that wasn't Fairy Tail.

If you've made a mistake or want to switch out this fandom for another, you can click on the X next to the name. The same goes for characters.
Nominating Characters
This works like nominating fandoms. Autocomplete may be able to give you an AO3-canonical version of your character's name if a fic has been uploaded with it before. If it doesn't come up on the autocomplete, type it in and hit enter.

For this example, when I typed in Erza, the autocomplete brought up two characters with that name within the Fairy Tail fandom.
Please remember that only characters nominated in the tag set will be allowed to be requested for Not Prime Time.
Submitting your nominations
Click submit when you're done.

If you want to edit your nominations, look to the upper right where there is an Edit button. You will be able to edit if your nominations haven't been accepted or rejected.
How to tell if a nomination has been accepted or rejected?
If it's accepted, there will be an image of a check mark next to it.
If it's rejected, there will be an image of a X mark next to it.

If it hasn't been looked at yet, it will have an image of ?! mark next to it.
Your submission isn't finalized until everything on it has been reviewed or until nominations end.

Date: 2016-04-12 04:40 am (UTC)If you're talking specifically about Luke Skywalker, I see his name didn't migrate to the Sequel Trilogy like it should have (guess no one synned him there). Go ahead and use that character tag for the nomination. I'll approve it.

Date: 2016-04-06 02:45 am (UTC)It looks like Aigis, Mitsuru, and Fuuka are synned to Persona 4, but while they appear in some of the crossover games, they don't actually appear in Persona 4 itself.

Date: 2016-04-06 04:02 pm (UTC)"How does matching work?
Matching is done through the AO3 matching system. The setting used for NPT is 1 request, 1 fandom, all characters within that specific fandom. This is the minimum level of matching needed for an offer to match a request."
In your letter/optional details, however, you can let your writer know that requested individuals can be written about individually or in any combination.
